Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai has opened the sixth Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) taking place on 11-13 of April 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and featuring industry projects and services catering to investment growth of various participating developing regions. More than 150 investors from 40 countries are participating and attending the exhibition.
The Annual Investment Meeting is a world-leading event and one of the most celebrated conference and exhibitions in the world, connecting top Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) investors, experts and practitioners from all around the globe. The theme for the sixth AIM is “The New World of FDI - Key Features and Best Practices”, focusing on changes over the course of the year and on new available investment types.
The investment exhibition also incorporates intellectual features and a comprehensive set of guidelines assisting countries achieve further growth in the industry.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed great satisfaction for the high level of global confidence in the UAE by international platforms, both from the side of governments as well as from privet sector companies that are interested in the economic, human resources, and sustainable development in areas such as trade, cultural, scientific and other avenues of co-operation, that benefit the Emirates as well as other countries.
He also stated that hosting such conferences in the UAE provides more opportunities for the UAE’s national economy to grow and establish investment partnerships between countries in Middle East, East Asia and Africa.
